I'm admitted very new to Moodle. I installed 2.2 in 2011, and today I installed Git and attempteed an upgrade to 2.4. All was fine until the plugin check. I get an error saying that I need to resolve plugin requirements. My assumption was that when it says "To be upgraded" or "To be installed" in the status column that the plugin requirements would be resolved during the upgrade. This doesn't seems to be the case though, as Moodle gives me a "You must solve all the plugin requirements before proceeding to install this Moodle version!" error and my onlly choice is a reload button. If this is correct, how do I resolve the plugin requirements? The ones that seem to be referenced for me are Database Auto-Linking (mod_data, fiilter\data) and Glossary Auto-Linking (mod_glossary, filter\glossary). I check the Plugins directory and I these are actually not even being used. I was able to go back to 2.2 in the meantime, so I cna't offer any more information other than the process that I did, in hopes that maybe I did something out of step:
- I got 2.4 Stable from Git
- Renamed my moodle directory to moodle22
- Copied 2.4 as the new moodle directory
- Copied and replaced the mod directory and config.php files from my moodle22 directory
- Started the upgrade
All is ok until the plugin check.
Any ideas? All are welcome. Please take it easy on me (Lol), I've seen some fairly rough responses out there, and I'm just looking for some help.
