Thanks for the response. I created a CNAME in forward with moodle24.olchs.lancs.sch.uk resolving to the ip 172.17.32.41 and ptr record in reverse with the same ip and fqdn.

I get the error from the site as attached below.

Doing and nslookup from the workstation it resolves the name of my dns server 172.17.32.10

Am I missing something.
