I'm Trying to install Moodle 2.4.3+ (Build: 20130411) onto a webhostserver.
Everything went ok til I get to "Server checks" page
The fist item check is 'Unicode' - the report for this:
It is required that you store all your data in Unicode format (UTF-8). New installations must be performed into databases that have their default character set as Unicode. If you are upgrading, you should perform the UTF-8 migration process (see the Admin page). |
I went to my webhost database and checked that the MySQL connection collation reads: utf8 unicode ci
- i Updated the database and refreshed the 'server check' page but there was NO CHANGE.
- I restarted the instalation and the result is the same.
What am I missing??
Any help would be appreciated.
