Hi All,

I am coming back with more information after speaking to my client.

1) Authentication option uses "Token authentication". Moodle will communicate with the website using a token and a user id when checking wif an account exist. No accounts created on moodle. - only checking if the account exist on the other site.

2) The user database / user account will not sit on moodle but only sit on the external website.

So all moodle is doing here is communicating with the website to see if the account exist and then lets the user login to moodle.

Can moodle do this directly without any additional coding?

I look forward to your reply.
