Hello All,

Good Morning!

I am facing some issues with my site backup and restore.

For Site backup I used the document http://docs.moodle.org/23/en/Site_backup

And for site restoring I used the document http://docs.moodle.org/23/en/Site_restore

Steps followed for site backup:

1) Took the MySql Database backup using mysqldump command from the command promt.

2) Took the Moodledata folder backup from the Source Machine

3) Took the Moodle Code backup from the Source Machine.

Steps followed for site restore:

1) Restored the MySql database in the destination machine.

2) Stopped moodle

3) Renamed the existing Moodledata folder to Moodledata_old and pasted the moodledata folder which I took as backup from the source machine

3) Renamed the existing moodle (moodlecode folder D:\moodle\moodle23\server\moodle) to D:\moodle\moodle23\server\moodle_old  and pasted the moodle folder which I took as backup from the source machine

4) Started the moodle and typed the moodle url http://localhost or http://127.0.0.1 now I got the page like I got for installation , CLick the continue button and something got installed

5) Created the admin user again as it promted to create

6) Typed the site name and site shortname

But i cannot see any courses  or users which is there in the source machine.

Please help me out as it is urgent and I am running the production with out backup server.

I am running moodle with risk. Please anybody help me out

 Thanks a lot in Advance.
