by Sam McNeill.

Hi Guys,

We are running Ubuntu 13.10, straight LAMP with Moodle 2.6 over the top of it.

We are running in NZDT on Ubuntu, updated via NTP on a daily cron:

$ date

Fri Jan 31 18:53:40 NZDT 2014

I've also checked mySQL which is set to server time:

$ mysql -e "SELECT @@global.time_zone;"

+--------------------+

| @@global.time_zone |

+--------------------+

| SYSTEM             |

+--------------------+

Moodle is set to "Local server" time as is my local profile setting (see attached screenshots) and yet forum post I did just now is 13hrs behind (I can't attach more than 2 screenshots)  so I think I'll post that in a reply.

Any ideas what I've missed here?!?

Cheers in advance
