I've just installed moodle for the first time and couldn't figure out why url forwarding worked without masking but not with it...

now thanks to your post, I went to security and checked the box to allow frame embedding and hey presto! now it works!

I'm glad it's eventually working but am wondering what the security issue is -

moodle don't recommend it for security reasons - does anyone know why?
