Thanks Howard. I appreciate the reply. I guess it's time to clone my server and try upgrading to 13.10 and see how it works. My thinking is that will get me the latest versions of most required packages and get me ready for 2.7 which says it will require 14.

When you say "13.10 (mostly works fine)", do you have any major caveats you could mention for me to watch out for? 

Is anyone else running 2.6.1 on Ubuntu 13.10 without issues?
