Upgraded - can't access/edit anything

Hi guys

Please help - I have successfully upgraded from 2.3 to lates 2.6.1, logged in but cannot edit anything (my profile, site administration). I have a new site with only one login/user. I have direct accees to MyphpAdmin but don't want to mess there if not necessary.
