Moodle migration script NON-functional

by Ken Hawkins.

Hi all

Server:

Welcome to Moodle.bamfieldmsc.com, TurnKey Linux 13.0 / Debian 7.3 Wheezy

Moodle ver. 2.6.1

I have been trying to change the FQDN for my moodle server, and followed the guide at

http://docs.moodle.org/23/en/Moodle_migration#Migrating_a_complete_Moodle_site_-_method_1

without success.

The script CLAIMS to have updated the database successfully, and I edited /var/www/config.php to point to the new name, but when I try the new name, I get re-directed back to the old one, and all links show as still having the old FQDN.

Restarting web server or even a full reboot does not clear this problem

TIA

Ken
