Apparently Softilicious is able to make the necessary adjustments to your server environment to make this work.

Out of curiosity, go into Site administration | Server | Environment and see if you all "ok's".  This might indicate to you that Softilicious was able to install all necessary components.

Also, try going into your moodle folder, and then look at config.php.  This will give you an idea of the database name, and maybe other parameters of interest.

One more thing... go into phpMyAdmin, look at the database, see what kind of database settings are being used, collation, etc.

Exploring a little will help your overall education about Moodle, and help you prepare to upgrade, when it is time.
