Thank you for the comment. I have checked the flexpagenav folder in block. It has everything there. These are the contents of the version.php file:

$plugin->requires     = 2013051401;
$plugin->component    = 'block_flexpagenav';
$plugin->release      = '2.5.0 (Build: 20131227)';
$plugin->maturity     = MATURITY_STABLE;
$plugin->dependencies = array(
    'format_flexpage' => 2013080201,
    'local_mr'        => 2010090201,

Looking at the above I think the above version is correct. 

Can you please guide on how I can check the permissions for the plugin files?
