I really appreciate your points but I realize that I should have been more specific.
This is not an upgrade rather a full clean installation of 2.7 on a test system. It has no connection to the the original 2.5.1 other than pulling out backups to restore. I plan to work my four courses here at home on my own installation which is fully functional at the moment. If I am successful then I can back them up from here to install them on the new upgraded 2.7 system of which the upgrade will be handled by the noble people at the University. If I fail, then the University will have my courses available anyway.
With that said, are there any operations that should be applied to my courses while they are still on the 2.5.1 system before the restore on the 2.7 system. My guess is that there really isn't and maybe I am just being overly cautious. I have heard tell about a peculiarity with the quiz bank though.
As for the 1.9v course. I believe it was upgraded to 2.5.1 but I never used it. I now want to update the content and use it in the 2.7 system. Cautions theretofore?
