I would like to restore courses saved from a 1.9.x installation into a fresh 2.8 site.
The restore itself works, everything seems okay, BUT all files which are linked on the course page are put in a "Legacy course files" repository. I know about the change in file storage etc, but check the following (this is from Moodle documentation):
Here it is explicitely written, that it is possible to restore a 1.9 course into 2.x without having legacy files at the end. I followed the "description", restored the course as a teacher into the course I was in, but "legacy course files" has been created.
How can I avoid it and have my files (resources, linked on the course page) converted to the new file storage system?
