Thanks Ken! I made some progress, I forgot that the "book" resource was a module plugin (the notes say it is part of moodle 2.3 on). I downloaded it again and did the "install" for it. Now I have the lessons appearing. Two issues now:
1. The "table of contents" on the left for each lesson is now center justified on the page instead of being at the top. This is not good as it can be lost on a large page.
2. The text for ALL the pages is now right justified looking terrible. However this is a major issue as there are way too many pages to go through for every course I have if I have to change the justification on every page manually. That would take forever, plus I still have to repeat this process for the next two moodle versions. Any idea why everything would change justification? Is there a global setting I can change?
