Installation of an other language

When I try to install another language (Greek in my case) I get the following error message:
" Fatal error: Class 'ZipArchive' not found in home/ploegr/public_html/moodle/lib/filestorage/zip_archive.php on line 67 "
and the installation interrupts.
I would be very happy if somebody could help me with this.
