I've been having problems getting Moodle to install. Tried various versions, currently 2.4.1+, but the same problem with them all.
Was getting the "could not find top level course" message. I've now removed the PHP execution limit (as I thought it might be stopping the install script) and the install now hangs after the server checks. The database tables have been created and some data populated.
This is running on a virtual server under Virtualmin on an Amazon Linux server. Both are latest versions and fully patched.
I'm guessing it's something to do with the Virtualmin configuration but not sure what and I've run out of things to check. Have tried running PHP as CGI and FastCGI but no difference.
Any ideas?
