Hi Les,
I've followed the same process and some of my users have received the email in their SPAM folder. So, my suggestion is to send a "newsletter" informing the users about the validation process and to check their spam folder just in case.
Anyway, As said in other entry of this threat it would be great if there was a chance to avoid this mail to the users that had been using the old OAuth module in previous Moodle versions. I assume it's not easy to fix from a tech point of view, bur from a user point of view it doesn't make any sense they've been login for years with their google account in the platform and now the have to validate it again.
Best regards,
Alejandro

What he said. You haven't fixed whatever problem you have.

From what I can gather (copy and paste)...
I'm struggling to find any documentation but the barracuda checks came in with Moodle 2.8 (https://tracker.moodle.org/browse/MDL-46235). I do not know that it is required.
PHP 7.0 will be required from 3.4 (https://tracker.moodle.org/browse/MDL-57432)

Hi Jerry Lau,
is your older version of Moodle is register or not?
if Yes then
Only sites which are online can be registered. If your site is online and you have problems registering or updating your registration, please email support@moodle.org.
Note that it can take a while before your site is listed on https://moodle.net/sites/ so please be patient.

Attempting to upgrade from 3.2 to 3.3 and I'm receiving the error:
Invalid admin setting (auth_cas/field_map_profile_field_Parental Salutation)
Clicking continue reverts back to plugin check and then continue again just regenerates this error. Never had an issue with upgrading before. What can I do to be able to complete this upgrade and get past this error?
Thanks in advance.
Debug info:
Error code: invalidadminsettingname

Possibly a silly question... are you using auth_cas?
volgens Trevor Fidler.
We are using LDAP, I couldn't even find this setting in the plugins config table. Ended up reverting to 3.2 for now.

You can import grades into a gradebook in Moodle. See the documentation. But, honestly, if they are previous year's grades, I would be tempted to just do analysis in Excel or something similar.

Hi, thank you very much i already have it in excels but a lot of excel sheets :p i just want it to be in the moodle so ttat i ti would be all together :Dby Jocelyn Chappaz.
is there anyway to do that without Chrome ? I don't know if it's still the case, but there was a time it was a nice spyware... so I'd rather like not using it, nor install it.
if it's the console, then Firefox is telling me that some mixed content (css, js, and theme) is blocked, when I tried to access the login page.
I'm in the case where I just have the moodle working on http ...and just try to access it from https://
Same thing with https:// redirection activated but in this case, if I do login, I went to the page where it tells me the webpage wasn't properly redirected and there's nothing to display at all.
Same thing with https:// in config... nothing to display except the message that only https:// are allowed.

I am not familiar with Linux and I made a mistake when I updated Ubuntu to 16.04 with Moodle 2.6 running on it. Moodle 2.6 now has admin pages that won't open. I know it has to do with php version 7 in 16.04 compared to 5.5 in 14.04. I did not originally set up my moodle server and I'm finding file locations are not in the default areas according to documentation. I have been able to find a /var/moodledata folder and /mnt/moodle_backups folders. I want to try to update to 2.7 and then update to the latest 3.3. I have downloaded the 2.7 version files and the 33 files to the downloads folder. I have extracted the moodle 2.7 tgz file to a moodle folder. I need help installing the 2.7 files so I can then update to 3.3. Please be patient as I'm new to linux. Thanks. - Kenby Bret Miller.
I'm not sure that will work. You still have to get through the upgrade code, which may not work with PHP 7. I'd install PHP 5.6 and set the website to use that instead.
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ondrej/php sudo apt-get updateThat last one is all supposed to be one line...
sudo apt-get install php5.6 php5.6-mcrypt php5.6-cgi php5.6-cli php5.6-curl php5.6-xmlrpc php5.6-gd php5.6-intl php5.6-json php5.6-mbstring php5.6-mysqli php5.6-xml php5.6-zip -y

Hi,
I found out a solution for the "undefined" pop up.
1. go to the site management
2. advance settings
3. let without ticking the feature: set up messaging between users. This cause that the icon in the top bar and this service vanishe. But the pop up is vanished as well !!!!
4. save the changes
They wont be able to send messages each other but, who does it.

felix

Brett,
Thanks for the info. I tried the first line and get a add-app-repository: command not found. Do I need to be in a specific directory? I'm logged in a root. Probably not the best practice, but it is the only password I have to log in.
Will php 5.6 get me to an update state or get my admin pages back?
Thanks for you help.
