Site Administration in Moodle 2.5.1+

I have more or less upgraded to a working system of 2.5.1+.

When I log in as admin there are no clickable items in the "Site Administration" block.

But when I search for e.g. "courses" (in the search box under Site Administration then all the items become clickable.

I am running IE 10 under Windows 8.

Under Google Chrome I can click on Site Administration and all the items are displayed and clickable.

Using IE 10 under Windows 7 is o.k.

I have tried purging all caches, cookies, etc., but this did not help.

Suggestions, please.
